BASF's cultural programme was announced today at a press conference in the BASF Feierabendhaus. Among them are 4 concerts at the Enjoy Jazz Festival! BASF's programme aims to do one thing above all: arouse curiosity and open up perspectives. The guests are artists who stand for genre-spanning approaches, excursions into other musical styles and unusual approaches. "The diversity of the world is reflected in our cultural programme. It can be experienced positively in music and dance, as they bring together different things and allow new things to emerge," says Karin Heyl, Head of Social Commitment at BASF.
The Enjoy Jazz Festival will feature Afro-Cuban music with Richard Bona & Mandekan Cubano, as well as jazz guitar by Israel's Gilad Hekselman and the energetic power jazz quartet Amok Amor by SWR Jazz Prize winner Christian Lillinger at the BASF-Gesellschaftshaus. Children and young people can discover their enthusiasm for jazz music at the annual Enjoy Jazz family festival. This year, Oran Etkin, outstanding jazz clarinetist, will pass on his enthusiasm for music to the next generation.
Advance booking for the concerts starts on 12.06! You can find more information here in the BASF cultural programme.
