You peoples, look upon this land
A literary-musical evening for Ukraine
An evening with a truly exquisite line-up: Marcel Beyer's work is characterized by an unmistakable poetic language that is able to place profound emotions in a highly complex world of thought. The Büchner Prize winner will read from his book of essays "Die tonlosen Stimmen beim Anblick der Toten auf den Straßen von Butscha". Other performers include London-based harpist Alina Bzhezhinska (nominated for "Best Live Experience of the Year", Jazz FM Award 2017) and musician, DJ, author, producer, radio presenter and columnist Yuriy Gurzhy. His numerous musical projects include the compilation "Borsh Division - Future Sound of Ukraine", which was released in 2016. The evening will be hosted by journalist Ira Peter, who was Odessa's city writer in 2021.
