Horizontal Escape

The creative process of searching usually contains an astonishing amount of what has already been found. This sentence could be the leitmotif for the final two weeks of our anniversary festival. We have put together a series of relatively free projects here, which in the most diverse ways have the potential to be groundbreaking. Above all, however, they demonstrate in highly diverse ways the possibilities and varieties of contemporary improvised music. Some of these varieties have already become popularized, others jump out at us from curious niches.
