Heidelberg Center for American Studies (HCA)

The Heidelberg Center for American Studies (HCA) is a central academic institution of the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. Founded in 2003, the multidisciplinary center researches, analyzes and imparts knowledge about historical, cultural, economic, political and social developments in the USA. The HCA also promotes dialog between academia and the public and contributes to the creation and strengthening of transatlantic networks.
