27th Enjoy Jazz – Closing highlight – Anouar Brahem Quartet at Christuskirche Mannheim
Yesterday, Saturday, november 8, 2025, the closing concert of the 27th Enjoy Jazz took place. In front of a sold-out crowd of 1,100 listeners at the Christuskirche Mannheim, Tunisian oud virtuoso Anouar Brahem took to the stage with Anja Lechner (cello), Django Bates (piano), and Mats Eilertsen (bass). The quartet presented pieces penned by Anouar Brahem, primarily from his current album "After The Last Sky." After 90 minutes, the concert—and with it this year's festival—came to a fitting conclusion with standing ovations and two celebrated encores.
The 27th edition of Enjoy Jazz from October 2 to november 8 with 57 events in Heidelberg, Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, and other locations in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Fifty percent of the concerts were sold out, and 75 percent of seats were filled, attracting a total of 22,000 visitors. In 2026, Enjoy Jazz will take place Enjoy Jazz October 2 to november 7.
