Code of Conduct

The foundation for a culture of respect

This Code of Conduct serves as the foundation for our shared experience at the Enjoy Jazz .

It serves as a guideline and defines the values we all stand for. We want to create an open, respectful, and non-discriminatory space where everyone can express themselves freely.

1) Our Mission Statement

Enjoy Jazz for diversity, openness, and respectful coexistence. We see our festival as a space where everyone can feel safe, welcome, and valued. This philosophy guides everything we do.

3) Accessibility

We strive to make our events as accessible as possible. This includes, in particular, ensuring that venues are accessible to people who use mobility aids and taking different needs into account. Together with our venues, we are constantly working to further develop and improve these standards.

5) Behavior and Responsibility

All participants are responsible for fostering a respectful and supportive atmosphere.

This includes treating one another with care and respect, refraining from discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate remarks and actions, and recognizing and respecting personal boundaries.

2) Diversity and Inclusion

We view diversity as a core value of our work. Different perspectives, experiences, and life realities enrich our festival and are essential to a vibrant cultural community.

At the same time, we actively promote social inclusion by challenging and dismantling structures that stand in the way.

4) A discrimination-free space

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or abuse.

This applies in particular to origin or ethnicity, skin color, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, religion or belief, physical or cognitive abilities, as well as age or social background. These principles apply to everyone involved, including staff, partners, artists, and visitors.

6) Consequences of violations

Violations of this Code of Conduct will not be tolerated. Depending on the severity of the incident, we will first seek to resolve the matter through discussion or issue formal warnings.

We expect respectful behavior in digital spaces as well. We therefore reserve the right to remove discriminatory content posted by others on our platforms. In particularly serious cases, we also reserve the right to impose bans, terminate partnerships, and take legal action.
