"I want to use the sound lab at the SWR Studio to try things I've never dared before!" said pianist and musical director Micah Thomas at the start of the SWR NEWJazz Meeting 2022. He spent a week rehearsing with his top-class ensemble at the SWR Studio Pianist - the exciting results can be heard at concerts in Karlsruhe (Nov. 18), Tübingen (Nov. 19) and Mannheim (Nov. 20).
