100 Years of Charles Mingus with august Zirner

On Sunday, October 16, 2022, 11 a.m., a matinee will take place in the glass foyer
of the Theater im Pfalzbau will host a matinee as part of the Enjoy Jazz Festival. The Friends of Enjoy Jazz e.V. event is entitled "My Soul's Will To Live: Charles Mingus 100" and is dedicated to the jazz musician of the same name, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year. Mingus is regarded as one of the most important bassists and composers of modern jazz. Actor, Grimme Award winner and jazz flutist august Zirner, bassist Sven Faller and the formation "I am Three" led by saxophonist Silke Eberhard will be performing on stage.
