Opening concert with Sona Jobarteh sold out

The opening concert of the Enjoy Jazz Festival will take place on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 8 pm. Sona Jobarteh, the first female kora player in West Africa, will take to the stage of the Königssaal in Heidelberg Castle. The harp instrument kora is usually played exclusively by men. The Gambian-born artist, who now lives in London, is a celebrated virtuoso on this instrument and will perform together with her four-piece band in front of a sold-out audience.
