The series "Enjoy Jazz im Landfried", in which the festival invites artists to its premises on the Landfried grounds, was successfully launched in November 2021 with a concert by Nik Bärtsch. On 15 May, the Finnish pianist Kari Ikonen will be a guest at Enjoy Jazz within this framework. Ikonen wanted to know if a Zero CO2 Tour is possible. To realise this project, he planned a concert tour that will take him from Helsinki to Germany by train via Saint Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Poland - and where no (clean) electricity is available for the train, the corresponding CO2 emissions will be compensated.
