The "Enjoy Jazz at Landfried" series, in which the festival invites artists to its premises on the Landfried grounds, was successfully launched in november 2021 with a concert by Nik Bärtsch. Finnish pianist Kari Ikonen will now be a guest at Enjoy Jazz on May 15. Ikonen wanted to know whether a Zero CO2 tour is possible. In order to realize this project, he planned a concert tour that would take him from Helsinki to Germany by train via St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Poland - and where no (clean) electricity is available for the train, the corresponding CO2 emissions would be offset.
