Anja Lechner solo in Heidelberg and Trygve Seim with Frode Haltli in Mannheim

At the beginning of 2025, the Enjoy Jazz Festival is organizing two concerts in churches in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. On Friday, February 14, saxophonist Trygve Seim and accordionist Frode Haltli will perform in the Christuskirche Mannheim as part of the "Days of Light" series. The Norwegian musicians will then present pieces from their latest album "Our Time", released by the Munich label ECM, celebrating their 25th anniversary on stage as a duo. The following day, Saturday, February 15, the German cellist Anja Lechner will give a solo concert in the Friedenskirche Heidelberg. Lechner will play works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Carl Friedrich Abel and Tobias Hume from her first solo album (also ECM), which was released in October. Both concerts begin at 8 p.m. Tickets for the events cost 28 euros plus fees in advance.
