Kamaal Williams

Diversity is Kamaal Williams' artistic practice. Born in Peckham, London, the artist of Taiwanese descent has long been bridging worlds, spatially and culturally, geographically and sonically. As the creator and founder of the London-based jazz duo Yussef Kamaal, he sparked a new wave of jazz in the UK with the album Black Focus.

In addition to his live instrumentation, Kamaal Williams also releases electronic music under his first name Henry Wu.
