Enjoy Jazz, the “Festival for Jazz and More,” will take place for the 28th time in 2026. Over 70 concerts, matinees, and masterclasses in the three cities of Heidelberg, Mannheim, and Ludwigshafen, as well as throughout the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, will offer a first-class program during the festival season in October 2026. It is not only the duration but also the artistic breadth—featuring concerts by world-renowned stars such as Carla Bley, Archie Shepp, and Brad Mehldau, as well as newcomers who are just beginning to make a name for themselves through the festival— Enjoy Jazz a festival with international appeal.
For the preparation and realization of Germany's largest jazz festival, we are looking for interns to support us in the areas of press and public relations, marketing and festival coordination.
periods of at least two months each:
Public Relations: Between early April and late December 2026
Marketing: Between early June and late november 2026
Coordination/Organization: Between early august and late november 2026
Tasks (varies depending on the area):
- Maintenance and design of the Enjoy Jazz and website
- Write creative posts and texts for our channels
- Support in the planning and implementation of program booklets, brochures, flyers and press kits
- Research interesting topics and images for our campaigns
- Support in the planning and implementation of events
- Take on organizational tasks that make the process run smoothly
- Take care of artists and journalists on site
- Support at events on site
Who we are looking for:
- You are interested in music and the cultural sector and have completed your basic studies OR completed an apprenticeship
- You love music and have already gained experience in the cultural sector, marketing/public relations and/or journalism
- You work independently, are a team player, committed, flexible in terms of time and stress-resistant
- You are confident in using Office programs and social media and have already gained some experience in working with content management systems
- You have a driver's license (class B)
