The Enjoy Jazz Schulbigband mourns the loss of one of its co-founders, Michael Hilprecht. Since 2012, he has celebrated great success as band leader together with Peer Hübel, Peter Jacob and the band. With his enthusiasm and commitment, he played a major role in getting the band to where it is now: it is impossible to imagine the festival without it.
Michael, we miss you and we mourn your loss. Even though you were aware of your illness, you still gave everything for this band and were able to experience two great concerts with us.
Rest in peace!
The Enjoy Jazz school big band is made up of the most talented pupils from St. Raphael-Gymnasium in Heidelberg, Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Gymnasium in Mannheim and Max-Planck-Gymnasium in Ludwigshafen and is an elementary component of the Enjoy Jazz youth work in cooperation with BASF SE.
