The Enjoy Jazz Schulbigband mourns the death of one of its co-founders, Michael Hilprecht. Since 2012, he has celebrated great successes as band leader together with Peer Hübel, Peter Jacob and the band. Through his enthusiasm and commitment, he contributed a lot to the band being where it is now: it is impossible to imagine the festival without it.
Michael, we miss you and we mourn you. Aware of your illness, you still gave everything for this band and then were able to experience two great concerts with us.
Rest in peace!
The Enjoy Jazz School Big Band is made up of the most talented pupils of the St. Raphael-Gymnasium in Heidelberg, the Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Gymnasium in Mannheim and the Max-Planck-Gymnasium in Ludwigshafen and is an elementary component of the Enjoy Jazz youth work in cooperation with BASF SE.
