Tomasz Stanko died!

Sad news reached us today. The Polish trumpeter Tomasz Stanko is dead. Between 1967 and 1973, the quartet of the musical free spirit was one of the most sought-after combos of modern jazz in Europe. Stanko, who was one of the most important creators of European jazz, was musically active until the end. With Stanko, who had already been a guest at Enjoy Jazz several times and who would also have played at our twentieth anniversary edition, an extraordinary musician and politically motivated freedom fighter died on 29 July 2018, whose motto in life was "to play and to search for life".
