The project "So much more than just a song: Jazz standards and their story(s)" is aimed at music lovers who write. In addition to jazz standard portraits by music journalists, texts inspired by these pieces of music will be published in a book under this title in autumn 2020. These texts can be in the genres of prose, poetry, drama or essay and should not exceed five A4 pages . In a multimedia event series accompanying the publication of the book, selected stories will be read by the authors themselves or by actors , and the underlying standards will be heard live in new versions .
