An evening inspired by Schiller's aesthetic
An evening Enjoy Jazz specifically for Enjoy Jazz that explores the interplay between beauty and freedom: texts, musical improvisations, and short scenes playfully explore central ideas from Schiller’s philosophical and aesthetic writings. august Zirner, an actor, has played both the Marquis of Posa (Kammerspiele Munich) and King Philip in “Don Carlos” (Staatstheater Hannover). He has appeared in approximately 150 films and is a Grimme Award winner. He has also been working as a flutist for about 30 years. Katalin Zsigmondy, an actress, played the “Maid of Orleans” at the Staatstheater Hannover and has taught at renowned acting schools. Hariolf Schlichtig, a violist, was a founding member of the Cherubini Quartet and is a professor at the HMTM in Munich.
