Concert in the dark: FlamenKora

The FlamenKora trio is embarking on a particularly intense sensory experience for musicians and audience alike at Enjoy Jazz. It is a tradition that every year at Enjoy Jazz a concert is held in cooperation with the Schloss-Schule Ilvesheim, a school for the blind and visually impaired. And in the dark. A flamenco guitarist from Madrid, a Paris-based kora master from Senegal and a German-born jazz trumpeter from New York seek and find in their music a kind of Esperanto to make the many false promises of the world language of music come true for the duration of a concert or an album.
