Mayquel González Quartet

It is the return of trumpeter Mayquel González with his quartet - no stranger to loyal Enjoy Jazz visitors and lovers of Latin American music. He has collaborations with Chucho Valdés and Harold López-Nussa to thank for his warm, swinging playing. He has performed on renowned festival stages and in legendary clubs around the world. His debut album as a leader was awarded the Cubadisco Music Festival 2019 prize, an accolade. Incidentally, the quartet's concert can be seen as a continuation of Enjoy Jazz 's partnership with the "Festival Internacional Jazz Plaza Havana", which has already brought some exciting evenings to the region.
