Samora Pinderhughes featuring Elena Pinderhughes
Tuesday, 13. October 2026, Old Fire Station
The works of composer, pianist, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary artist Samora Pinderhughes are known for their striking intimacy and their carefully crafted, radically honest lyrics. He combines his own high-caliber compositions with striking imagery that often addresses socio-political themes at their intersection, seeing himself in the tradition of those Black Surrealists who bend words, sounds, and images for the sake of revolution. Samora has demonstrated this in countless collaborations with artists such as Robert Glasper, Karriem Riggins, and Common as “august Greene,” Burniss Travis, and Christian Scott. He Enjoy Jazz to Enjoy Jazz with his sister, singer and flutist Elena Pinderhughes.
