The duo The Saxophones, consisting of husband and wife Alexi Erenkov and Alison Alderdice, creates delicate retro chamber pop that blends elements of 1950s exotica, art noir, West Coast folk, and smooth jazz.
Founded in the mid-2000s in California’s Bay Area, The Saxophones subtly examine the current state of the world and their place within it on their latest fourth album, *No Time For Poetry*—a snapshot of personal and political reflections that oscillate between ironic resignation and vague optimism.
