Tom Skinner

British drummer, composer, and producer Tom Skinner has been a defining and central figure in London's underground music scene for around 20 years. Skinner is known, among other things, as a founding member of Sons Of Kemet, which he started together with Shabaka Hutchings. He also forms the band The Smile with Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood. Skinner has also collaborated with many other renowned musicians such as Grace Jones, Meshell Ndegeocello, Jarvis Cocker, Matthew Herbert, Mulatu Astatke, and Floating Points. Tom Skinner released his first album under his own name, "Voices of Bishara," in 2022, followed in 2025 by "Kaleidoscopic Visions" on International Anthem in collaboration with Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings.
