On 2 October, the festival presents itself for the 21st time and cordially invites you on a seven-week journey through the multifaceted world of jazz. The first seven concerts are already sold out before the festival starts! There are no more tickets for Carlos Miyares & The Cuban Quartet, Trondheim Voices, Trio JAP, Yonathan Avishai Trio, Paulo Moorello, NES & the Violet Quartet!
But other concerts are also very much in demand. Festival lovers should therefore quickly secure tickets for these concerts:
In the second week of the festival, on 8 October, singer & songwriter William Fitzsimmons will be on stage at the Karlstorbahnhof. In his new album, he deals with the separation from his wife and moves musically between folk and pop.
Once again this year, the Schwetzingen Festival will be opened by Enjoy Jazz on 11 October. The American jazz singer with Puerto Rican roots, Indra Rios-Moore , will also delight her audience in the Alte Wollfabrik with her charismatic voice.
Grammy winner and jazz legend Dee Dee Bridgewater returns to the German stage with just three concerts to present her latest album "Memphis... Yes, I'm Ready". Those who want to experience this highlight live on 12.10. at the BASF Feierabendhaus should grab it quickly.
Only a few tickets are still available for the Yonathan Avishai Trio on 11.10. The Israeli-French pianist can be experienced up close in the newly recorded festival venue Ella & Louis in Mannheim.
