Enjoy Jazz Listening Bar with Silvia Silko

In a listening bar, visitors can listen to good music in a relaxed atmosphere and concentrate on the pure listening experience with high-quality drinks. The songs come - deliberately contrary to the current streaming and playlisting trend - from vinyl and the works are played in their entirety. Slow hearing, if you like. After the successful premiere at last year's anniversary festival, Enjoy Jazz for the new edition, we are once again working with Hirsch + Ille, the specialist for entertainment electronics. Four different hosts, all music journalists, present a selected album, which is then played on high-quality audio equipment that guarantees a first-class sound experience. Afterwards, there is space for the host and the audience to exchange ideas about what they have heard.

Silvia Silko studied philosophy, German studies and pop music in Heidelberg and Paderborn, but now lives and works in Berlin. She is a music and pop culture journalist and writes mainly for the Tagesspiegel, POLYTON magazine and regularly appears as an expert on the radio program "Soundcheck".
