Björn Meyer is one of those musicians who are redefining their instrument. The bassist is a regular guest at the festival, where he never fails to surprise and delight audiences in a wide variety of settings—most recently in 2025 as part of Simin Tander’s all-star band.

With his latest solo album on ECM, which Meyer Enjoy Jazz at Enjoy Jazz this year, he continues down this path with unwavering commitment.
