Youn Sun Nah surprises audiences and critics once again with a bold career move. The new album "She Moves On" was produced in New York with musicians from John Zorn's circle and sounds like that, namely at times enchantingly raw and unpolished. There are only 5 tickets left for the concert in the first category !
Soon sold out: Today is tomorrow already yesterday! Hardly any band can talk about this more and, above all, more entertainingly than the Heidelberg collective DePhazz around electronic producer Pit Baumgartner. There are also only a few tickets left for the concert !
Three concerts at special venues are new in the advance sale:
Always keep moving! Don't let yourself be tied down! Stay curious! The Norwegian pianist, composer, arranger, producer and "Jazzland" label boss Bugge Wesseltoft will be giving an exclusive concert at the engelhorn fashion house in Mannheim. Tickets on sale soon.
One can still characterise the peculiarly archaic beauty of the music associated with the Armenian priest, composer, music educator and ethnomusicologist Komitas Vardapet (1869-1935) as an insider tip among connoisseurs. With this concert, the festival welcomes the EinTanzHaus in Mannheim, which opened at the end of September, as another very special venue. It's best to buy tickets now.
A few years ago, the Swiss violinist Maya Homburger, who is best known for her involvement with baroque music, spoke in an interview about planning a "Bach marathon". Now this plan, which was still vague at the time, is being put into practice: The "Bach Meditation" - as the meaningful title suggests - will take place by candlelight in the Tankturm Heidelberg, which will be accessible during the concert. If that doesn't sound promising! Tickets are available here!
The concerts by Roman Schuler extended Trio at the Europäischer Hof Heidelberg and by Caroll Vanwelden at the Club Speicher 7 Mannheim are sold out by now.
