Alexandra Lehmler invites Jan Bang & Vincent Courtois

Alexandra Lehmler has been a regular presence at Enjoy Jazz for over a decade with a wide variety of projects. In 2014, she was awarded the Baden-Württemberg State Jazz Prize and has subsequently distinguished herself by repeatedly seeking out exciting, challenging constellations, including with Herbert Joos, Franck Tortiller and Patrice Héral. Now another highlight follows with the Norwegian Jan Bang, the master of live sampling and live remixing. Lehmler met the director of the Punkt Festival at one of their concerts and came to appreciate his approach to music. Vincent Courtois, on the other hand, has a fascinating versatility that combines the robust and the melodious. Saxophone(s), cello, live sampling, electronics - Alexandra Lehmler once again presents her art in a new and exciting context, from the heart of the contemporary sound laboratory of improvisation.
