Enjoy Jazz Listening Bar: Tina Edwards

In the midst of hectic everyday life, attentive listening becomes a rare art. The Listening Bars at Enjoy Jazz invite you to fully immerse yourself in the music - in an intimate atmosphere, with excellent drinks and the finest hi-fi technology. In cooperation with Hirsch + Ille and following the successful premiere in 2023, Enjoy Jazz is once again focusing on the decelerated format this year: slow listening instead of stream zapping.

At the center of the evening is a selected vinyl album, which will be played in full length. Beforehand, host Tina Edwards will personally introduce the work. The London DJ, music journalist and broadcaster is regarded as one of the most exciting selector personalities in the UK - with a flair for something special between jazz, soulful house, disco, funk, Latin and Afro grooves. Whether at festivals such as Glastonbury, in the Boiler Room Session or at her own Love is Everywhere parties, Tina gets people dancing - and listening. As a curator, DJ and radio presenter (e.g. BBC Radio 3, Jazz FM, British Airways), she is in demand internationally - and is known for taking her audience by the hand with curiosity, knowledge and charm and sending them on a musical journey of discovery.

After the listening experience, there will be an opportunity to talk to the artist - about music, culture and what happens when you fully immerse yourself in the sound.
