Enjoy Jazz School Big Band

What do Ron Carter, Geri Allen and Christian McBride have in common? They all played in school big bands when they were young. It is not uncommon for the foundations for great careers to be laid in these bands - but above all, the joy of making music together is awakened. To inspire creativity, promote talent and enable young people to meet professionals - that was the aim from the very beginning when the Enjoy Jazz school big band was founded. With SAP SE as an important supporter and partner schools in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Ludwigshafen, a structure has now been established that is relied on every year: Even if the composition of the ensemble naturally changes, this ensures continuity that is conducive to quality - and the repertoire can be constantly expanded, deepened and varied. The icing on the cake: the concerts resulting from the developed programs. So even after 13 years of school big band, the motto is: Keep Swingin'!
