In his film about the avant-garde musician, composer, performance artist and dancer Meredith Monk, who has been an important part of the New York underground since the 1960s, Billy Shebar traces the career of this wonderfully creative universal artist, who has had a major influence on such diverse personalities as David Byrne, Björk and Jim Jarmusch.
