A cinematic celebration of jazz magic: Bill Frisell, Lee Konitz, Paul Motian, Midori Takada - they and many others of the world's best-known and most prolific jazz musicians meet again and again for sessions with Danish jazz guitarist Jakob Bro, where, in time-honored jazz tradition, the recording tape is simply left running. The filmmakers have followed this musical network over the course of the last 14 years, capturing intimate, improvised moments between pioneers of contemporary jazz.
